Cookie cutter from a picture
Choose a picture with a dark shape on a light background; its outline becomes a blade 15 mm tall and 1.2 mm thin on a 1.6 mm rim that stiffens it and saves fingers. It is 60 mm across to start with.
What it is good for
- Cookies in the shape of a drawing, a logo or a pet
- Play dough and clay cutters
- Stencils for fondant
How to make it
- Open the app and click "Cookie cutter from a picture" on the start screen.
- Choose the picture; the outline is traced right in your browser.
- Make it bigger or smaller – blade and rim keep their thickness.
- Download for your printer.
Printing it
- Simple, bold shapes cut best; fine details under 3 mm will not.
- Print in PLA or PETG and wash by hand; for food, many people use cutters only for dough, not for storage.
Questions and answers
Does my picture leave my computer?

What if the outline is wrong?
